About Me
For more than three decades, I’ve had the great privilege of running successful policy campaigns and teams while working at organizations like the Sierra Club and Physicians for Human Rights. I’ve also enjoyed serving in broad leadership positions such as Managing Director of a climate communications firm. As Chief of Staff for U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm’s Office of Policy (a Biden political appointee role), I led key efforts to help implement the Inflation Reduction Act --a massive policy to secure the clean energy economy we all deserve.
As an expert and thought leader on climate and electric vehicle policy, I have championed solutions through strategic campaign work and dozens of published articles and conference presentations. For several years, I served as a governor-appointed Commissioner on the Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Commission where we implemented impactful incentives to increase EV adoption among consumers, businesses, and government agencies.
I’ve learned a great deal over the years –including from brilliant colleagues– about what structures, policies, and practices work –and what gets in the way. Armed with training from an intensive program at Brown University affiliated with the International Coaching Federation, I’m enjoying coaching mission-driven leaders to navigate change within nonprofit, government, academic, and philanthropic settings. I find it gratifying to help leaders take a step back and then forward to thrive.
I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts with my husband, and we have two grown-ish daughters.
In my free time you can find me walking along the Charles River while listening to books and podcasts focused on politics, poetry, history, and love.
