Services
Attention to leadership and organizational health bolsters impact.
Sometimes leaders and teams need a helping hand for a key project or a fresh set of eyes and ears to partner with them to identify challenges, get unstuck, and chart a robust path ahead. My services are geared primarily toward change-makers within nonprofit organizations, philanthropic institutions, government agencies, and universities.
Leadership Coaching
Elite athletes need coaches, not because they are deficient, but because they are great. The same can be true for organizational leaders. Running a mission-driven team can be exhilarating and can leave you feeling stretched thin or stuck. You may experience loneliness as you contemplate sensitive decisions. As a leadership coach, I listen with compassion and curiosity, serving as a confidential and honest sounding board. Coaching can focus on a wide variety of topics, such as a high-stakes initiative launch, team morale, board relations, funding shortfalls, new roles, etc. It is not so much advice as it is structured and sometimes “outside the box” conversation to help you identify your path ahead. I partner with leaders one-on-one to help them:
Crystalize their challenges and desired solutions
Understand what’s holding them back
Navigate change
Lean into strengths (and maneuver weaknesses and blind spots)
Get the most out of a 360° leadership assessment (optional addition to coaching)
Commit to tangible next steps

Project Execution
Sometimes an organization can use an extra set of experienced hands to execute for a project that may take a day, a week, a month, or several months. Maybe you have a discreet project that is too high-level for a junior staffer but too time-consuming for your senior team. This could involve solo work or collaborative efforts with your staff and partners. Examples of the types of efforts for which I can jump in and lend my skills include:
Policy landscape analysis (particularly in the climate and electric vehicle space)
Staff retreat planning
Data synthesis
Communications (writing/editing/message testing)
Consulting & Advising
You may be looking to put healthier structures and practices in place to boost team morale, develop your leaders, and achieve bigger impact. Perhaps you are eager to advocate for a particular policy, but you have questions about feasibility. My consulting and advising cover topics including:
Thoughtful co-design of organizational structure, policies, and practices that use a lens of equity and impact
Compassionate and effective staff management techniques
Policy advocacy, campaigning, and donor advising – particularly in the climate and electric vehicle policy space
